Then, open the folder for which you wish to add a background image. Within the folder, right-click and select
Properties
»
Customize tab
»
Customize
. There, choose any icon, click
Apply
and
OK
. That process should have created a "
desktop.ini
" file. Open that file with a text editor and add these lines of code:
To customize this according to your needs, edit the path in the last line to reflect to the location of the image you wish to use as the background image for that folder. Refresh the folder and the new background should appear.

[ExtShellFolderViews]
{BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}={BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}
[{BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}]
IconArea_Image=C:\path\folder\background.jpg

<img title="Folder Background Images in window xp" style="border-right: 0px;

Finally, to remove the default icon chosen during the creation of the
desktop.ini
and restore the default folder icon, delete these lines of code from within the
desktop.ini
file:

[.ShellClassInfo]
IconFile=%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll
IconIndex=(some number)

cheers……………..

target…..

Check its value If the value is not 1 then make it 1.
If “CheckedValue” key is not there then Create a new key called “CheckedValue” as a DWORD (hexadecimal) with a value of 1.

Now open My Computer, on the toolbar go to Tools > Folder Option and click on the View tab.
The “Show hidden files & folders” will work properly!!!

posted by target:

Recover your deleted data from your pen drive

Now-a-days Pen Drives are easier to transfer data from one PC to another. Students who appear for IIT-JEE also attempt a number of other engineering exams held at the regional level. Exams like AIEEE open up opportunities into regional engineering colleges. Whereas Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) enables you a chance to go international with their campus in Dubai apart from Goa and Rajasthan. There are 20 National Institute of Technology (NIT) in the country that accepts the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) scores. The facilities and infrastructure is on par with any of the IITs.Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) which conducts its own entrance test is another lucrative option in terms of quality study and exposure. "DCE with its large campus is quiet popular with engineering students. It is a good option for engineering students..more then four lakh students competing for few odd seats in IITs across the country, the IIT-JEE exam is tough to crack. Hence students are on a look out for other engineering entrance exams conducted by other institutes. my advise student dont lose heart if you cant clear IIT-JEE enterance….

popular engineering entrance exam date

BEST OF LUCK…

POSTED BY TARGET…

Google Launches Its Own Programming Language (Google's Go)..

Hi frnds google launche new programming language. The initial design of Go was started in September 2007 by Robert Griesemer, Rob Pike, and Ken Thompson, Go was officially announced in November 2009, with implementations released for the Linux and Mac OS X platforms.basically Go was born out of frustration with existing languages and environments for systems programming. Programming had become too difficult and the choice of languages was partly to blame. One had to choose either efficient compilation, efficient execution, or ease of programming; all three were not available in the same mainstream language. Programmers who could were choosing ease over safety and efficiency by moving to dynamically typed languages such as Python and JavaScript rather than C++ or, to a lesser extent, Java.Features not included in Go are exception handling, type inheritance, generic programming, assertions, and method overloading and pointer arithmetic.

GO is a Simple Programming Language

One of the first things we see with Google for any product is "simplicity". This company definitely believes in making things simple and easy. So as most programming languages have a particular syntax that you need to understand, GO has a similar, but much simpler and predictable as compared to C, C++, etc.

Fast Compilers

One of the slowest process of most programming languages is compilation. It takes a long time to compile the code, and that has just changed. With GO compilers, typical builds are compiled withing fraction of a second. Which really is something that all programmers have been wanting since a long time.

GO is concurrent

Which may mean a lot, specially if you are building a program that needs multiple processes to run at the same time. Go promotes writing systems and servers as sets of lightweight communicating processes, called goroutines, with strong support from the language. Run thousands of goroutines if you want—and say good-bye to stack overflows.

Implementations

Here's a Go program that outputs "Hello, World!":
package main

import "fmt"

func main() {
fmt.Printf("Hello, World\n")
}

posted by TARGET

Difference between window vista and window XP

Windows Vista is more advanced then Windows xp lets see what’s the difference in it!

1.

Images are bigger in vista

Windows xp:

With Windows XP it was possible to create images that would fit easily on a single CD (less than 700MB). Even organizations that added applications, drivers, and utilities to their image typically ended up with an operating system image in the 1GB to 3GB range.

Windows Vista:

With Windows Vista, image size begins at about 2GB—compressed. Once this image is deployed, the size is often around 5GB or more, and there's no way to reduce it. If you add additional applications, drivers, or other files, this image obviously grows even larger.

2.

Bitlocker

Windows xp:

Windows XP has . For example, configuring Windows Vista to support "low rights" users, where the logged-on user does not have administrator rights, is easier. S With Windows Vista, applications that attempt to write to restricted areas will have those writes transparently redirected to other locations in the user's profile.

6.

No More HAL Complications

Windows Xp:

With Windows XP, technical restrictions prevented the creation of a single image that could be deployed to all computers. Different hardware abstraction layers (HALs) meant you had to maintain multiple images. (For more on this see the Knowledge Base article "HAL options after Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 Setup") Most organizations needed two or three images per platform (x86 and x64) and some chose to have even more—though each image brings added costs and complexity.

Windows Vista:

In Windows Vista, those technical restrictions are gone; the operating system is able to detect which HAL is required and automatically install it.

7.

Deployment Is Language-Neutral

Windows Xp:

Windows XP supported different languages in two ways. You could either deploy localized versions of Windows XP, requiring a different image for each language, or you could deploy an English Multilanguage User Interface (MUI) version with added language packs. There were advantages and disadvantages to each approach, but in most cases organizations that needed to support multiple languages took the MUI route, dealing with the limitations of running with an operating system that was effectively English at its core. Organizations that worked only with one language typically chose to use only the localized versions.

Windows Vista:

Now with Windows Vista, the entire operating system is language-neutral. One or more language packs are added to this language-neutral core to create the image that is deployed (although only some versions of Windows Vista support multiple languages).

8.

  Text-Mode Installation Is Gone

Windows Xp:

The image preparation process has also changed. With Windows XP, you would "Sysprep" a machine to prepare the reference operating system for deployment.

Windows Vista:

With Windows Vista, you'll still run Sysprep.exe (installed by default in C:\Windows\System32\Sysprep), which will "generalize" the machine for duplication.

posted by TARGET…

Speed up your Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla Firefox is one of the best web browsers I have seen till now. I have found this to be quite useful on many occasions for verification purposes since I receive lots of emails daily due to my blog. Tracking the IP address of an email sender does require looking at some technical details.

There are basically two steps involved in the process of tracking an email: find the IP address in the email header section and then look up the location of the IP address.
Finding the IP address of an email sender in GMail,

Google’s Gmail

1. Log into your account and open the email in question.

2. Click on the down arrow that’s to the right of the Reply link. Choose Show Original from the list.

track emails

Now here’s the technical part that I was telling you about earlier! You need to look for the lines of text that start with “Received: from“. It might be easier to simply press Cntrl + F and perform a search for that phase. You’ll notice that there are several Received From’s in the message header. This is because the message header contains the IP addresses of all of servers involved in routing that email to you.

Tracking the location of an IP address

Now that we have our originating IP address of 127.0.0.1, let’s find out where that is! You can do this by perform a location lookup on the IP address. My favorites are IP2Location .

posted by target….

VARUN a.k.a [V!p3R]

How to find the MAC address

The Media Access Control Address, or MAC address is a unique identification number that is assigned to most network cards by the manufacturer.

You are rarely in a position where you simply cannot find a job — the world needs more and more engineers all the time.
An engineering degree is a great launch pad for careers in business, humanities, and even the civil services.
Indian engineers are more likely to get scholarships for further studies in the US than any other graduates. This is a computer-based online test of three hours.

What after an Engineering Degree?

Once you have completed your BE (Bachelor of Engineering) or BTech (Bachelor of Technology) program, you are ready to get a job in almost any organization that requires engineers. You also have the option of going for higher studies that include doing an ME or MTech in India, an MS in the US, or pursuing other postgraduate options, like doing an MBA.

VARUN a.k.a [V!p3R]

posted by target

Isro Develops Cryogenic Engine

The India Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will use an indigenously developed cryogenic engine to launch the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV). India has been importing the cryogenic engines from Russia since 1991. So far, India has launched five GSLV rockets. The GSLV launch, if successful, will make India only the fifth or sixth country in the world to launch a rocket with indigenous cryogenic technology. The cryogenic stage is the upper stage of the rocket that will house the cryogenic engine within it.

CRYOGENIC ENGINE:

Cryogenic Engines are rocket motors designed for liquid fuels that have to be held at very low "cryogenic" temperatures to be liquid - they would otherwise be gas at normal temperatures. Typically Hydrogen and Oxygen are used which need to be held below 20°K (-423°F) and 90°K (-297°F) to remain liquid.
The components of the engine also have to be cooled to low temperatures so that the fuel doesn't boil to a gas in the lines that feed the engine. The thrust comes from the rapid expansion from liquid to gas with the gas emerging from the motor at very high speed. The energy needed to heat the fuels comes from burning them, once they are gasses. Cryogenic engines are the highest performing rocket motors. One disadvantage is that the fuel tanks tend to be bulky and require heavy insulation to store the propellant. Their high fuel efficiency, however outweighs this disadvantage.
The Space Shuttle's main engines used for liftoff are cryogenic engines. The smaller hypergolic thrusters are used for maneuvering once in orbit since they are compact and don't need to be stored at very-low temperatures. Currently only the US, Russia, China, France, Japan and India have mastered cryogenic rocket technology.

VARUN a.k.a [V!p3R]

Google's Nexus One super phone launched:

Google will be announcing its own smartphone and will finally jump into the mobile computing officially. The smartphone named Nexus One will showcase the latest generation of the Linux-based open source Android operating system and will be directly marketed by Google itself. Designed by HTC it runs Android OS 2.1 which is a step up from older version 2.0.
The Nexus One is powered by a 1-GHz Snapdragon CPU, a 3.7-inch 480 x 800 display,5 Megapixel camera with LED flash, 512 MB of of RAM and an expandable 4-GB microSD card, The 1-GHz processor alone should make the Nexus one of the fastest smartphones available currently and it will have a stiff competition from the product offerings by Apple iPhone,Nokia,Palm and Blackberry.

The Phone will be priced at about

530$ Unlocked and

180$ subsidized with a contract to commit for 2 years.

With Google jumping up in the mobile market, the biggest loser is Microsoft as HTC used to be its flagship company for its Windows mobile phones, and now its not. Maybe your search results get more expanded and more related to your search.

How To Find Proxy using Google

1) Well go to http://google.com

2)type inurl:"nph-proxy.cgi" "start using cgiproxy"

3)You will get results such as http://www.orkut.com/cgi-bin/nph-proxy.cgi andothers.

How to Search Rapidshare link download

l many people out there keep asking in social networking sites and keep asking for help in forum but trust me you'll frustrated.:

1) go to google search engine

2)type site:rapidshare.com "text here" .Replace "text here" with your search such as "three idiots"

3) Experiment it. You too can change the parameter to site:. rapidshare.com filetype:pdf ebook

GOOGLE SEARCH OPERATORS:

filetype:

If you include
filetype:
suffix in your query, Google will restrict the results to pages whose names end in
suffix
. For example,[filetype:pdf hacking ]will return Adobe Acrobat pdf files that match the terms “web,” “page,” “evaluation,” and

When you don’t specify a File Format in the Advanced Search Form or the
filetype:
operator, Google searches a variety of file format

info:

The query
info:
URl will present some information about the corresponding web page. For instance, [ info:gohotel.com ] will show information about the national hotel directory GotHotel.com home page.

location:

If you include
location:
in your query on Google News, only articles from the location you specify will be returned. Many other country names work; try them and see.

movie:

If you include
movie:
in your query, Google will find movie-related information. For examples, see Goole blogs.

phonebook:

If you start your query with
phonebook:
, Google shows all public U.S. resudence telephone listings (name, address, phone number) for the person you specify. For example, [ phonebook: varun singh india] will show phonebook listings of everyone named varun singh in india .

related:

The query
related:
Url will list web pages that are similar to the web page you specify. For instance, [ related:www.edu.org ] will list web pages that are similar to the Consumer Reports home page.

site:

If you include
site:
in your query, Google will restrict your search results to the site or domain you specify. For example, [ admissions site:www.lse.ac.uk ] will show admissions information from London School of Economics’ site and [ peace site:gov ] will find pages about peace within the
.gov
domain. You can specify a domain with or without a period, e.g., either as
.gov
or
gov
.

Cheers.!!!

VARUN a.k.a [V!p3R]

post by target…

How To Extract Saved Password From Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Yahoo Messenger, Gtalk And Msn

Hiii friend this is a interesting trick, how to extract the password .but It is Quite Dangerous to save your password in Internet Explorer, Mozilla FireFox, Google Chrome, or even in Messengers.
Whenever you select “Remember my Password” option, then your Passwords are Automatically saved into your Computer, for further use.
The saved Passwords can be retrieved quite easily.
It is more dangerous when you are using public computers. But there is a very useful and easy add-on available from Microsoft itself.

Microsoft office compatibility pack

This compatibility pack will let you open the newer MS office documents with extensions .docx , .xlsx and .pptx with the older versions of MS Office 2003 and Office 2000. You will also be able to open, edit, and save files using the file formats new to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007.
